NFC card setup · quick guide
Set up your Rizely card in 2 minutes
Put any link on your card, like your website, Instagram, WhatsApp or Rizely profile. One tap on any phone opens it, and you can change it any time.
Before you start
-
1
Copy the link you want to share
Open the page or profile, then copy the link from the browser's address bar or the app's Share → Copy link.
- instagram.com/yourname
- yourwebsite.com
- wa.me/91XXXXXXXXXX
Many links? Use your free Rizely profile link, which holds them all on one page.

https:// is already filled in, so paste only the rest, like
instagram.com/yourname. - 5
Tap Write / 27 Bytes.
Your number may be different. That's fine.
- 6
When Ready to Scan appears, hold the card to the back of your iPhone, at the top near the camera.
Keep it still until you see the tick. Done!
- 1

- 3
Tap URL / URI.
Not "Custom URL / URI".

Keep it still for 2 to 3 seconds until the app says the write is done.
Test your card
iPhone
Hold the card near the top edge (screen on). A notification pops up, and one tap opens your link.
Android
Hold the card to the middle of the back (NFC on). Your link opens straight away.
No app, no account
The other person needs no app and no account. Your link just opens.
Which phones?
iPhone XR / XS and newer read the card on their own. Most Android phones do too, once NFC is on.
Quick fixes
Nothing happens
Take off thick or metal covers, magnetic rings and pop-sockets, then move the card slowly around the spot.
Writing stops halfway
Hold the card still and tap Write again. It usually works on the second try.
Wrote the wrong link
Just repeat the steps with the right link. The new link replaces the old one.
Rizely Display stand
Same steps. Rest your phone on the tap area of the stand.
Don't use "Lock tag" in the app. Locking is permanent, and the card can never be changed again. Leave it unlocked so you can switch to a new link whenever you want.
That's it. Your card is live.
One tap opens your link on any phone, and you can point the card somewhere new whenever you want. Nothing to reprint.
